Christmas party

We are starting the last week before Christmas before our journey to Chicagoland for the holidays. Andrew is doing pretty good, he is sleeping 7 -8 hours at night and then eating and going back to sleep until almost 8am! That is a lot better sleep for us and makes a great difference in our attitude. We also had our ward Christmas party on Saturday night and we dresses Andrew up like a little Santa just because we had the outfit and thought it would be great torture for the little guy. Besides you have to have some really crazy pictures to show at his wedding one day, right? Ethan is starting to figure out that if he acts up, he gets more attention, so we are trying to spend one on one time with him everyday so that he feels part of all the hype. All is well in the freezing cold land of Wisconsin and we love our 2 cute boys!

We are trying to stay positive with very little sleep today. Andrew has decided to wake up every 1/2 hour for a while in the middle of the night and Dan and I are lacking patience and sleep. Any advice for those sleepless nights?
Today we are taking Ethan in for his Speech Re-Evaluation after 6 months with no speech therapy, we shall see how far he has progressed and if he is on track for his age. Very exciting!

Just a quick picture of our newest addition to the family. Our happy Andrew!

Well, this is our first blog and we are officially on the wagon with everyone else in the world! Yipee! I know I won't have lots of time for updates and cool stuff, but I will try to have some fun stuff to read.
We are all doing great here in Madison, it is getting really cold and even though Ethan has lots of cool snow gear, he has quickly realized that playing outside in the snow is a very short process! He came in the other day and say "Too cold, Mommy, too cold out dere." Yep, that makes those new snow boots a great investment! HA!
Andrew is still getting into a routine and he is a much happier baby than Ethan was at this age. He sleeps pretty well and still naps almost every other hour or so. He has reflux just like his big brother did, but we were able to get him the right medicine much earlier.
I keep telling Dan how happy my life is and thanking him for giving me so many wonderful things. I thank the Lord for these precious blessings in my life. Life is good.
